Hey y'all!

So, just squeezing in some stills from a job done during the summer months. It's a viral website for a new Nokia phone, the N81, which was commissioned by the excellent Swedish agency Farfar. It was a pleasure to work with the talented guys and gals over there, and this is the result. My role was lead design and creative direction at Visual Art. The site was done as bunch of quicktimes, which then Farfar split up and programmed to become interactive. Check out the site at www.070829.com.

1st day of shooting

Just finished the first day at the studio. A long day with mostly rigging the set pieces and also filming some stunts, which the photo gives a hint about. ;)

Tomorrow will be the main day where we do the principle photography, and there's a lot of setups to be done. Will fill you in some more of that once I got time and have recovered from that shoot.

Day 2 - Pre-production

Been a long day, and first time since we arrived , I stepped outside the hotel and actually saw L.A :) Well, only like 3 blocks of Hollywood Blvd, but that makes up for probably 20 % of the sights...Chinese Theater, walk of stars and all those million tourist shops that all sell the same stuff.

But the day started early with a meeting with our DP, the talented Claudio Miranda, so I was mad eager to meet him and discuss the project. And also the tedious task of going through model photos to pick 'em out ;) Tomorrow will be the first day of shooting, with some stunt stuff, so that will be crazy fun! Peace out and good night.

Arrived in LaLa land!

After a 16 hour flight we've finally touched ground at LAX. After a car ride to the very stylish hotel Roosevelt at Hollywood Boulevard (you know, where all those stars in street are..) and quick check-in, my production designer and stylist came knockin' at the door. No time a wasting! To be continued...

Off to the city of angels

Tomorrow wednesday, I'm off to Los Angeles for a 2-day shoot during the weekend. Still very secret, it is a project I'm directing through Hypothermik. It's gonna be a very poetic and crazy spot, which will be finished in about 4 weeks time. Will post some pics from the land of dreams as soon as I get some free time.
